Looking for an excellent, well made, solid sailboat? This Hans Groop design built by Targa Yachts in Finland is well loved and ready for serious cruising. A prior owner raced her in at least 3 Swiftsure races. The current owners have spent most of every September cruising the waters off Vancouver Island. In 2015 they took the boat up to Alaska on a 3 month cruise where they were joined by their daughter and son-in-law for several days exploring Alaskan glaciers. She is a very comfortable, cozy boat and very well-equipped. The standing rigging was replaced in 2015 along with the cabin windows and frames. It is powered with a dependable Yanmar 3cyl that was installed in 2007 along with the saildrive. You are protected with a full cockpit enclosure made in 2019 and the glass cockpit windows with electric windshield wipers are a real plus. This boat is equipped with a Garmin GPS and Radar, an Autohelm, roller furling jib, diesel heat, lazy jacks, Harken self tailing winches and a Gig Harbor Boatworks sailing dinghy. She is a great family boat that has a separate aft cabin for the kids.
