1977 C&C 38 MkII

Gig Harbor, Washington

$34,950

1977 C&C 38 MKII

This classic beauty is still in great shape and still sails fast and offers cruising comforts, including solar power, dinghy davits, a hard dodger and autopilot as well as a refrigerator and upgraded bunks below.

These C&Cs were the ideal racer-cruiser hybrid of their day, fast enough to compete in local races, comfortable enough to cruise to Alaska. And this well-kept blue bombshell still is.

The layout below goes like this: There’s a large quarter berth on the port side behind a comfortable nav station. To the starboard is a three-burner stove and oven with a big sink and plenty of counter space. The handsome salon sports two rebuilt settees with high-density plush bunks and a folding dining table. Forward of the saloon is a spacious head with a shower. The large V-berth in the bow sleeps two comfortably.

She also comes with a large sail inventory, including an asymmetrical spinnaker, and an extremely reliable 28hp Westinghouse diesel with 1700 hours.

Other upsides and improvements include:

Harken jib furler

Self-tailing 44 primary winches

Lofrans electric windlass

Dickensen Newport heater

Adler Barber refrigeration,

High quality blue Awlgrip hull paint

A stainless steel 30lb Bruce anchor

Original C&C 38 Mk II operating manual

An owner’s detailed guide to the operating systems of the boat

40 gallons in water tanks

16 gallon in fuel tank
