1986 Custom Cold Molded Cutter

Port Orchard, Washington

$299,000

Globally proven custom built cutter. Built in France by a shipwright for a shipwright, both being her sole owner. Designed by his father, a naval architect. A magnificently outfitted and sea kindly long range expedition voyager. Steering wheel in cockpit. Navigation and chart table  station in enclosed wheelhouse. Powerfully constructed of mahogany cold molded West Systems to 1'1/2" thick. Twin canted rudders and airplane wing designed centerboard. Aries windvane, six solar panels, wind generator.

Powered by a Perkins FWC four cylinder diesel with eight hours on a 2023 rebuild. Five sails including electric furling headsail. Recent Lewmar 5.4 HP bow thruster.

Three ocean crossing [one single handed] and followed by a three year navigation in the Arctic, including an attempt at Northwest Passage in 2018, and a successful Northwest Passage in 2019.

She is up to date and ready for her next leg. This boat is one of a kind, she has had one owner since launch. The interior decor is a living piece of art and must be seen. No pictures will ever convey her story, history and brutal strength. This vessel must be seen, and listened to quietly to hear her story. Photos taken 6-23-2023 except the two pics of her under sail.  For those prospects arriving from afar SeaTac Airport in  Seattle Washington is close by.

For a complete history from build to her many passages search the web for sailboat Breskell.
