Grand Banks 49' Classic

The Grand Banks 49' Classic is a traditional yacht design with  fiberglass hull, cabin and fly bridge structures.  She also has a teak swim step, teak decks, gunwale caps and teak and stainless steel welded fittings and handrails.  There are large sliding glass windows and easy walk-around decks.  The main deck features the salon, galley, and helm with aft stairs leading down to the master stateroom and forward stairs leading down to the guest staterooms. There is a roomy cockpit with storage in the lazarette beneath.  The aft cabin supports the dingy on the starboard side with an electric hoist and davit.  Up 5 steps from the deck is the flybridge, with ample seating for crew and guests and the upper helm to starboard. The flybridge feature a full complement of electronics and navigation systems.

Accomodations

The 49 Classic Grand Banks features a three-stateroom layout and two heads which provide roomy accommodations for six. The guest staterooms are forward with their own head and shower.  The forward stateroom is very roomy and features a large V-berth.  There is a ladder in the forward stateroom providing access to the upper exterior deck through a hatch.  The second guest stateroom features two single berths and lots of storage.  Up on the main deck, the lower helm station is to starboard and the L-shaped galley is opposite to port. The salon features an L-shaped settee and dining table.  The salon has large windows providing lots of light and excellent visibility.  The master stateroom is down and aft and features an island queen berth.  There are book shelves, a desk, and lots of storage including a hanging locker.  The master stateroom has it's own head with a separate shower.

Galley

The Galley is L-shaped and up to the port.  There are lots of cupboards and storage with a stainless steel sink.
