This 77' custom yacht was designed and built by Nordlund of Tacoma, WA. The 2 year build was performed to the meticulous specifications of the yachtsman/owner who, having built two previous yachts, wanted to create his ultimate craft - easily handled by he and his wife - a true yachtsman yacht - redundant/reliable systems - quiet and comfortable - ultimate safety. As you read these specifications you will conclude that he and Nordlund accomplished his goals.

This Nordlund was boathouse kept by the original owner until mid 2012 - the current owner has moored the boat in fresh water on Lake Union. An extensive $500,000 remodel and upgrade performed while continuing the exceptional Nordlund Factory maintenance instituted by the original owner - recently completing a Nordlund haul out - maintenance records are impeccable.

The Nordlund Boat Company has been family owned and operated for more than 50 years.  Their reputation as building premier custom yachts can easily be identified in this Ed Monk designed Nordlund.  Noteworthy construction features include aluminum I-beams for strength, and specifically for Song of the Sea, extra thick fiberglass at the chines and the keel, a semi-bulbous bow for increased fuel economy and stability.
